Chromatic Assembly Top No.01 is constructed from individually hand-crocheted circular modules, assembled one by one to create an open geometric surface across the body and sleeves.

Each module is made from premium cotton yarn left over from previous creations. Rather than establishing a fixed palette and sourcing new yarn to reproduce it, the colours available at the moment of making determine the composition. Bright and muted tones meet instinctively across the surface, making colour part of the construction rather than simply its decoration.

The circles connect only at selected points, leaving deliberate areas of negative space between them. These openings give the garment its transparency, lightness and movement, allowing the body—or whatever is worn beneath it—to become part of the composition.

Designed with sleeves and an intentionally open silhouette, the piece can be worn directly against the body or layered over another garment. Its unisex construction allows the same piece to take on a different character depending on who wears it and how it is styled.

Chromatic Assembly can be created again, but never identically. Each edition begins with the leftover yarns available at that moment, resulting in a new arrangement of colour and placement every time.
