The Triangles Collage Jacket is constructed from 32 individually hand-crocheted triangular motifs, assembled into a geometric composition of colour, texture and form.

Each triangle is made separately before being joined by hand, allowing individual fragments to become a single surface. Changes in colour and orientation create movement across the body, while the repetition of one geometric shape gives the composition its underlying structure.

In contrast to the modular crochet body, the sleeves are entirely hand-knitted. Their softer, more continuous surface interrupts the geometry of the triangles and introduces a different texture and rhythm to the garment.

The jacket is intentionally buttonless and cut with a loose silhouette, allowing the construction to fall naturally around the body. Designed for both men and women, it can be worn open, layered and interpreted without a prescribed shape.

Taking approximately two weeks to complete by hand, the Triangles Collage Jacket reflects the Ebru Gurlek approach to handcrafted apparel: traditional techniques used not as decoration, but as a way of constructing form.
